well right off the bat if you are creating a NEW file you are presented with choices of strict, transitional, basic etc ... this is ok for those tuned in to standards etc but for the newcomer this is a far cry from other editors... Perhaps a tutorial for beginners !! I don't disagree with the philosophy of Amaya's approach or with the menus/ dialogs themselves. the GUI is gradually being worked into more standard ways of organizing things.
