the reporter is correct! Amaya should not hang up or in the case of win98 destroy the view displays .... testing reveals that by removing the width attribute on the grad_ image, one gets a workable page.... The level of table nesting is high, ?fonts? are used so there is a lot of dynamic calculation of page width going on... this is possibly what is hanging some systems or memory clobbering in others .... check the routine that calculates width dynamically for many many nested values .... and width after applying font When I enter this URL into Amaya's address field: http://www.wipo.int/ibis/index.html Amaya allocates more and more memory until all virtual memory is exhausted (1GB) and does not react when I click the stop button. amaya_gtk-8.5-1 RPM, SuSE Linux 9.0.
