valign attribute on table row not taken into account for display

Hi,

the subject line says it all, if I set the valign attribute to "bottom" for
a table row (e.g. the first line of the table in 
http://cuisung.unige.ch/vl/votes/991109.html), the content of the cells remain
aligned to the top.

This same document illustrates the problem I reported just a moment ago about
overwrite of characters in table cells.

The problem appears both for Amaya 2.2 Solaris 2.5 and Amaya 2.2 Win98
(binary releases).
