Thanks to Angel Li (angel.li@rsmas.miami.edu), Amaya and Thot are now available on Digital Unix (aka OSF/1). The associated platform name is osf1. The binaries are available at: ftp://opera.inrialpes.fr/pub/binaries/amaya/amaya-osf1-0.95b.tar.gz ftp://opera.inrialpes.fr/pub/binaries/thot/thoteditor-osf1-2.0b.tar.gz They should install using the same procedure as for the other supported platforms : http://www.w3.org/pub/WWW/Amaya/User/Install.html To recompile from the sources, get the patch file (only 64 lines, mainly related to an outdated XPM package). ftp://opera.inrialpes.fr/pub/patch/patch.osf1 and the precompiled binaries, Makefiles and config.h ftp://opera.inrialpes.fr/pub/sources/amaya/amaya-libs-osf1-0.95b.tar.gz ftp://opera.inrialpes.fr/pub/sources/thot/thot-libs-osf1-2.0b.tar.gz From that point follow the instruction on compiling on a supported platform : http://www.w3.org/pub/WWW/Amaya/User/Compiling.html http://opera.inrialpes.fr/thot/doc/Compiling.html thanks again to Angel, Daniel -- Daniel Veillard@w3.org | W3C / INRIA Rhone-Alpes | Today's Bookmarks : Daniel.Veillard@inrialpes.fr| 655 av de l'Europe | Linux, WWW, Java, Tel : +33 04 76 61 53 85 | 38330 Montbonnot | badminton, Kaffe, Fax : +33 04 76 54 76 15 | France | Amaya and CSS.
