I was reviewing the grid style guide [1] and I think we need some
clarifications in the Actionable section.
Current text: Enter pressed while focus is on an actionable item will
enter Actionable Mode. Focus will remain on the actionable item that has
focus.
Unless the grid is already in actionable mode, the focus will be on the
cell and not on the actionable item within the cell. You first need to
enter actionable mode. I propose clarifying that focus is on a cell
containing an actionable item .
Proposed text: Enter pressed while focus is on a cell containing an
actionable item will enter Actionable Mode. Focus will remain on the
actionable item that has focus.
The same issue exists for the next statement,
Optionally, Alphanumeric keys pressed while focus is on an actionable item
will enter Actionable Mode. Focus will remain on the actionable item that
has focus.
I believe this also needs to refer to focus being on a cell containing an
actionable item.
