ISSUE: difference between marquee and log in ARIA draft Current wording: "A major difference between a marquee and a log is how fast it gets updates from timed or real world events." The wording "how fast it gets updates" is vague and subjective. The spec says Marquee has an "assumed default live property value of 'off'" but this could just be an explicit live property value on Log. It seems to me that the only real difference between Marquee and Log is the visual presentation. As I understand it, a Marquee is just a Log that scrolls sideways instead of vertically. If there is no other practical difference, we should remove the Marquee role and default to Log.
