W3C QA Validator program

I'd like to draw people's attention to the W3C Validator Donation
Program. This is introduced by a blog entry at
http://www.w3.org/QA/2008/12/validator_donation_program.html; the
official program is located at http://www.w3.org/QA/Tools/Donate.

The work we do on WAI-ARIA and with other Web content formats has a lot
of relationship to validators, so this should be of interest to us. I'd
first like to encourage everyone receiving this message to consider
donating to the progam, and to spread the word about the program. The
W3C validator stands to be greatly improved if people support it.

If the program is successful, there might be opportunities for future
work on the validators that is even more relevant to the work we're
doing. I don't want to appear to promise anything on behalf of W3C, but
I'd say that the more we're able to support the validator, the more it
will be possible for it to support us.

Please take a look at the program, spread the word among your contacts
as appropriate, and consider supporting the program yourself, and
encourage your organization to do so.
