Hi Ed, Thank you for taking the time to write. And thank you for the tone and approach of your message. From a couple quick checks, I do not find validation errors. For example: https://validator.w3.org/nu/?showoutline=yes&doc=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.w3.org%2FTR%2FWCAG21%2F We are having website problems (more info at https://www.w3.org/2003/08/system-status ) and I wonder if by chance that is the cause? Although I can't think how. If you want us to look into this more, would you be willing to share more on where you think it is invalid and not well-formed? For example, if a validator tool is giving that result? Thanks much, ~Shawn <http://www.w3.org/People/Shawn/> On 22-Jun-21 4:15 AM, MACKENZIE Ed wrote: > Hi, > > Just thought I'd bring to your attention that the WCAG 2.1 recommendations page: https://www.w3.org/TR/WCAG21/ appears to be both invalid and is not well-formed. I believe this is somewhat in violation of pre-requisites as laid out in https://www.w3.org/WAI/WCAG21/Understanding/parsing.html. Looking at the markup it looks like someone mixed HTML5 and xHTML elements, but that's from a cursory analysis. > > Hope this is of some use. > > Thanks and regards, > > Ed Mackenzie > Research Technologist > CAHSS > University of Edinburgh > v1emack9@exceed.ed.ac.uk > The University of Edinburgh is a charitable body, registered in Scotland, with registration number SC005336.
