Hi Manon, The structure and the schema of a CSV file can be enhanced by implementing CSV on the Web <https://www.w3.org/TR/tabular-data-primer/>. I do think that format is more future proof compared to Excel and provides a better machine readable format because you can add various metadata including the data type of your tabular data by using various vocabulary such as Dublin Core/schema.org...
