Hi Serena, if you have a control such as a button to advance the carousel and that button supports a single pointer activation without gesture then the criteria can be met.

I have doubts about the types of gestures that don't meet Success Criterion 2.5.1 Pointer Gestures.
For example, in a carousel on a mobile app, does the swipe to scroll the cards fail the criterion or not?
