I also know someone looking for an accessibility web expert so I took a quick look at Dan's recommendation's website homepage. There are some font color choices that do not meet minimum color contrast and the white background can be challenging people with Dyslexia, light sensitivity, and more. The text and call to action options are not (cognitively) descriptive and the layout does not account for mobile or a "zoomed in" view. Missing alt text, using headings for visual text format, displaying text on top of a (busy) image, etc. indicates a lack of accessibility awareness. I also took a glimpse at Karly's recommendation's website homepage. There are also color challenges with min color contrast and white backgrounds. There are a few other questionable decisions so not sure what they sort of accessibility guidance they are providing but hoping it is better than what their website reflect. My ten second unofficial evaluation of each website only picked out some of the more obvious a11y concerns. I believe that any company that claims accessibility services should have an accessible website to represent their abilities. But maybe that's just me... ------------------------------------------------------------------------ *From:* Cunningham, Karly [mailto:KCunningham1@northwell.edu] *Sent:* Friday, March 26, 2021, 3:26 PM *To:* Dan Horning; caroline *Cc:* w3c-wai-ig@w3.org *Subject:* [EXTERNAL] Re: { Creative agencies } experience with anyone listed? > Hi Dan, > > One company I have worked with regularly is > https://www.phase2technology.com/ <https://www.phase2technology.com/> > > We have done a TON of design work with them, and as a Healthcare > company accessibility is a top priority for us.
