Hi WAI IG folks, Here is some information in follow up to previous messages https://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/w3c-wai-ig/2020OctDec/0032.html and https://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/w3c-wai-ig/2020OctDec/0034.html W3C WAI has this Resource: *Involving Users in Evaluating Web Accessibility* https://www.w3.org/WAI/test-evaluate/involving-users/ that says: [[ Even web developers with little accessibility knowledge can find some accessibility issues through a preliminary review [with Easy Checks – A First Review of Web Accessibility]. An accessibility expert with first-hand experience of how people with different disabilities interact with the web can: * evaluate accessibility issues for a broad range of users, which might not be found by individual users * help fix any known barriers before bringing in users * focus the evaluation with users on potential areas of concern *The initial review identifies any significant accessibility barriers to fix before evaluating with users. It also helps define what to focus on for evaluation with users.*" ]] We also encourage involving people with disabilities earlier in the process -- before evaluation -- in this W3C WAI Resource: *Involving Users in Web Projects for Better, Easier Accessibility* https://www.w3.org/WAI/planning/involving-users/ Hope these help. Best, ~Shawn <http://www.w3.org/People/Shawn/>
