Hi All, I've proposed a new W3C Accessibility Playlist Community Group to explore strategies for bridging the gap between accessibility needs and current common playlist formats such as XSPF and Media RSS. In order to distribute accessible media using HTML5 media and track elements, there are potentially many resources affiliated with each title: A media source file (potentially in multiple formats), caption file, multiple subtitle files, description files, chapter files, metadata files, and source files for accompanying sign language videos in various sign languages. We need a playlist format that allows all of these resources to be identified. If you're interested in getting involved in such a group, please vote your support here: https://www.w3.org/community/blog/2016/06/02/proposed-group-accessible-playlist-community-group/ Cheers, Terrill --- Terrill Thompson Technology Accessibility Specialist DO-IT, Accessible Technology Services UW Information Technology University of Washington tft@uw.edu
