I cannot fathom whether mozilla is not sending the right response, or website authors are not asking the right question. In either case using mozilla and linux, I'm finding that up to 50% of flash pages are not detecting that I have a flash plugin, and are redirecting me to get one. ideas please this works fine: http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio4/lordoftherings/episode1.swf this does not: http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio4/lordoftherings/popup.shtml I'm currently sending nagging messages to webmasters, on the basis that 50% can't be wrong. However a standard would help. thanks -- j.chetwynd@btinternet.com http://www.peepo.com "enjoy surfing the net" http://www.learningdifficulty.org
