Hello Kynn, When I exclude one group of people (here disabled people) from information I have, I consider that as not being democratic..and also discriminatory.. . The Media Carta (see www.pccharter.net) says the right to communicate must be a fundamental human right in the constitutions of all free nations.. When you or others will react, please do it off- list... then we discuss till we are blue.. (or is this too Dutch) greetings Ineke > > ----- Original Message ----- > From: "Kynn Bartlett" <kynn-edapta@idyllmtn.com> > To: "Ineke van der Maat" <inekemaa@xs4all.nl>; <w3c-wai-ig@w3.org> > Sent: Sunday, December 16, 2001 12:07 PM > Subject: Re: Disability statistics > > > > At 1:47 PM -0800 12/16/01, Ineke van der Maat wrote: > > >When I know how to build accessible sites, I have the democratic duty to > > >build them, no matter what it costs. > > > > Who voted? > > > > (I think you mean "the moral duty".) > > > > --Kynn > > > > -- > > Kynn Bartlett <kynn@idyllmtn.com> http://kynn.com > > Chief Technologist, Idyll Mountain http://idyllmtn.com > > Web Accessibility Expert-for-hire http://kynn.com/resume > > January Web Accessibility eCourse http://kynn.com/+d201 > > >
