Pre-CfC for the WCAG2ICT Group Note

Hi all,

The WCAG2ICT Task Force would like to publish an update to the “Guidance on Applying WCAG 2 to Non-Web Documents and Software Group Note”.

This is “pre-CfC”, i.e. a good (but last) chance to comment before we go into a CfC.

You can review changes before republishing this update to WCAG2ICT intended to harmonize guidance with the EN 301 549 (currently being drafted for the European Accessibility Act). See issue 750<https://github.com/w3c/wcag2ict/issues/750> ( “Content for Review” part)  for a description of what has changed from the previously published Group Note. The list of substantive changes includes two focus areas where the most substantive changes were made: 1.4.4 Resize Text and 2.1.1 Keyboard. There is a clean view and a diff view of the document provided in the issue. There are also anchor links to the diff view for each item in the list of substantive changes in the issue which we provided for easy reference.

Once you’ve reviewed the changes, provide a thumbs up on the issue description if you approve, or add a comment to the issue if you have concerns or changes.

If all goes well, we will start the CfC on 12 August.
