Maybe squaring the circle by expanding the new wording to "visible indicator that the components are available, and where." but admittedly that's a bit awkward. But otherwise, it gets even more convoluted and lengthy, like "visible indicator that the components are available, at or near the visual location where they will appear" but that starts setting up potential need for further clarification, and "near" is not really a good word for a testable statement...
