Apologies for any cross-posting as I didn't want to miss anyone.
As some of you are aware, not only am I no longer 21 years old, but my health has been not the greatest in the last few years. I have decided to step back in a number of roles and Amanda Mace will be stepping up as the General Manager of Web Key IT. I will still remain at Web Key IT as Director, but in a far less visible role. I almost fancy calling myself "Chairman of the Board". As the Board is very small, that is probably way too weird.
I will no longer be able to participate in W3C and the AGWG and EOWG working groups and Amanda will also replace me as the Advisory Committee Rep for Web Key IT. I'll still be around, just not very visible. I would appreciating being removed from the mailing lists, as Amanda will inform me of anything that I really 'must' know. Alan and Karen (copied above), will assist with the process of changing the Evangelist, Chapter and AC documentation over to Amanda.
Thank you all for your incredible encouragement and support over the past many years I've been involved. I'm actually looking forward to more time relaxing and walking on the beach. I can already hear some of your saying "that isn't likely to happen", but believe me I'm already there!
Amanda is excited to take over these roles. Over the past 7 years, she has worked with me and become more involved in the W3C processes, and I know that she will do so much more than I ever could.
