The Working Group has reviewed and approved a Success Criterion for inclusion in the Editor’s Draft: "Accessible Name" with the goal of obtaining additional input external to the working group. SC TEXT: "Where an active control has a visible label, the accessible name for the control includes the text string used for its visible label."
