The following is a proposal for HTML techniques. I will implement the proposal in a draft unless there is objection from the group. There will still be room for debate of the proposal in the context of the next draft. Issue 906 [1] proposes we forbid the B element; 907 [2] says the same for I, 908 [3] for BASEFONT, and 909 [4] for FONT. These are all presentational elements. There is a placeholder technique to replace presentational elements with CSS [5]. I propose we list these elements in that technique.
