PRESENT David MacDonald Michael Cooper Chris Ridpath Ben Caldwell Don Evans Charles McCathieNevile Tom Croucher Jonathan Chetwynd Wendy Chisholm David Donovan Lisa Seeman DISCUSSION Test Framework - we began looking at a very preliminary draft of a test framework [1] that Chris put together and also took at a look at the Euroaccessibility test file work [2]. There was a very detailed discussion about how specific the test files should be to be good tests of WCAG, with some feeling they needed to be general enough not to be overly prescriptive and context-insensitive, and others that issues left unspecified will be subject to excessive variety of interpretation or omission. Action items from this discussion were to have a few people analyze the entire chain from a sample guideline, through success criteria, techniques, and test files and see what issues and proposals come out of this, which could be generalized to the entire set of guidelines. Face-to-Face - some discussion of issues we would like to cover at the Face-to-Face meeting in Cannes, France on 4 - 5 March 2004. Testing approach and framework, work on RDF and SVG techniques, and reviews of HTML, CSS, and Gateway techniques are primary agenda items. We would also like to take coordination time with members of the QA working group and the SVG working group. These are the current agenda proposals; a final agenda will be available later. IRC log of discussion at http://www.w3.org/2004/01/21-wai-wcag-irc.html ACTION ITEMS Charles: Look at the chain from a guideline to a particular test re alt for image David: Look at the chain from a guideline to a particular test re title element Wendy: Pick a guideline and work way from top to bottom Tom: Offer use cases (we're doing this technique because it helps x, y, z) Chris: Ask olivier to review tests and ask questions for. Wendy: Publish latest draft of RDF Techs from lisa.
