To celebrate the New Year: Peepo.co.uk is being upgraded to be even more accessible ~:" Please be sure to have a good one! my problem: If client-side scripting is not available do I present the SVG enabled site or not? more generally: How can I know if a plugin is available in the absence of scripting? I now have a number of different sites to suit various choices. SVG without scripting SVG with scripting DHTML XHTML This is a real world problem, as scripting isn't available on some (portable) platforms that support SVG (but not necessarily XHTML.) whereas some people will not have SVG installed, and may have disabled scripting. My apologies if i haven't thought this through sufficiently, or this explanation is too brief. I find catering for this number of options a challenge. One for PFWG possibly, but not yet authorised to discuss...... I'll be transferring some scripting activity to CSS, when I figure how ~:" thanks Jonathan Chetwynd http://www.peepo.co.uk "A web by people with learning difficulties"
