What to do if the recepient actually isn't subscribed to the list?
How to do it in a convenient way in most mailreaders? What if the
recepient isn't a regular reader of the list and probably wants to
by carbon copied?

The only solution would be to require subscription to the list and
letting the list manager modify the Reply-To header (what might be
harmful), but it's very unlikely that this is acceptable for most
@w3.org lists. I suggest to filter such copies away in your mail
reader or mail server.
