Len, When you ask for examples, I ask my favorite LD user of the web, and while I relaxed in the tub, he came up with a start in the right direction. As you will see, the topics are all the same, trains, his favorite reason to surf the web! http://www.k12.hi.us/~kapunaha/Trains/traincars.htm provides examples of line drawings placed with the appropriate paragraphs of text. http://www.trainweb.org/railwaytechnical/Manufacture.html doesn't place the graphics as close to the text, but uses a lot of detailed photos that are small on the page and clickable to the usable version. http://www.trainweb.org/railwaytechnical/bogie1.html uses a very large graphic with labels, and text explanation lower on the page. There are of course many more pages Steve visits that include limited text details with photos, small on the page and large to click on, but the above pages may be better examples of the minimums we need to address for accessibility to content.
