Perhaps my attitude needs some adjustment but not being able to access ad banners doesn't strike me a great loss! I have noticed lately that many TV commercials have gone to just music and sound effects and you have to read the screen to get the message - somehow that doesn't bother me much. The irritating ones are when you part of the message, the ones that make you want something and then tell you to call the number on the screen. It seems to me that in the case of advertisements failure to make it accessible is the loss of the advertiser much more than the potential consumer.
