Here's what the structure on this looks like: <wcag version="2.0" status="strawman proposal"> <principles> <principle> <summary>...</summary> <guidelines> <guideline> <summary>...</summary> <checkpoints> <technology type="html"> <checkpoint>...</checkpoint> <checkpoint>...</checkpoint> </technology> <technology type="css"> <checkpoint>...</checkpoint> <checkpoint>...</checkpoint> </technology> <technology type="xml"> <checkpoint>...</checkpoint> <checkpoint>...</checkpoint> </technology> </checkpoints> </guideline> <guideline> ... </guideline> </guidelines> </principle> <principle> ... </principle> </principles> </wcag> Is this accurate? What's clearly missing from the proposal is an explanation of how checkpoints work, a description of where the priority is assigned and to what, and a sense of where text gets inserted. Does the WD-WCAG20-20000726 proposal require a Techniques document? -- Kynn Bartlett <kynn@idyllmtn.com> http://kynn.com/ Director of Accessibility, Edapta http://www.edapta.com/ Chief Technologist, Idyll Mountain Internet http://www.idyllmtn.com/ AWARE Center Director http://www.awarecenter.org/ Vote for Liz for N.
