Hi all, In order to synchronize the Techniques and Guidelines on the concept of applicability (i.e. that some success criteria won't apply to some tools) I propose to add a second bullet point to item 3 in 2.2.2 Conformance Claims. At the moment the item reads: 3. Required: A description of how the authoring tool meets each of the normative success criteria for each of the checkpoints that are required for the conformance level that has been specified by the conformance profile. - For relative priority checkpoints this means describing how the requirements of the Content Type-Specific WCAG Benchmark are satisfied. I would like to add this bullet: - A success criterion is also considered to be met if it is not applicable to the authoring tool. For example, the success criterion for checkpoint A.2.9 begins, "If a preview is provided,...", so this success criterion would not apply to tools that do not include a preview feature. Additional guidance on the applicability of each success criterion in the guidelines is provided in the *Techniques*. Thoughts? Jan
