I have posted ascreen shots and description of how Amaya handles getting content for the caption element http://www.w3.org/WAI/AU/tech-scratch/tables It doesn't deal with a caption in the dialog, but as a part of the content (indeed, the part that the author is expected to fill in first, so it is the place that the cursor starts when the table is inserted...) comments, thoughts, ideas, further examples?
