Dear Translators, dear Coralie Mercer

Thank you for your answer, I will use special characters in the translation I am working on.

I have noticed that special characters are being used for translations into German and other languages.
That was one of the reasons I decided to ask for more information on this matter.

As a native Romanian speaker I can say that the translations available on the W3C website can be understood by native Romanians.
However, the translators could maybe update them to include special characters.
It would help to have those characters in all the Romanian translations, especially since the translation I am working on will include them.

If I can help you with anything else, please let me know.

Thank you and have a nice day,

Mihai Tentis

Please, no. Do include the special characters in your work.

If the Romanian language features special characters, it is likely that the translations which have been submitted to us were not following the right model. Let's see what Richard finds out.

I wonder if the translations in Romanian that we have in the Database are understandable to native Romanian. If they are not understandable without special characters, we may have to either take them down, or comment them out till they are updated by their original translators.

Thanks for your question and if you can give us any feedback on the understandability of available translation, I would appreciate it.
