request for developing a [French] authorized translation of Understanding WCAG 2.0

Hello all,
On behalf of "Association BrailleNet", I am happy to officially inform
the W3C of our intention to continue our work as LTO for developing an
authorized translation into French of "Understanding WCAG 2.0" at
http://www.w3.org/TR/UNDERSTANDING-WCAG20/.
According to the "W3C Policy for Authorized W3C Translations" we still
work with the help of most members of the group that have already
participated in the translation of WCAG 2.0 into French and that
represent major and relevant stakeholder organizations from 5 french
speaking countries.
All the stakeholder organizations which have formally agreed to continue
the work in
this committee are listed below.
Detailed information about the members of the commitee can be found at:
http://www.braillenet.org/accessibilite/comprendre-wcag20/comite.php
I will be the contact person for this translation and on behalf of the
"Understanding WCAG 2.0 french speaking translation Committee", I'm
waiting for the formal agreement of W3C in order to start working on the
Candidate Authorized translation of Understanding WCAG 2.0.
Best regards,
Sylvie Duchateau
