Dear W3C managers and all! What are the author rights of a W3C document translation? It is clear that a translation must comply with the requirements of point 2 at http://www.w3.org/Consortium/Legal/IPR-FAQ-20000620#translate, i.e. include its original copyright notice. The translator refers to himself at the prominent disclosure usually. He automatically agree to redistribution of the translation (point 3), but he is still the author of it. But what are requirements for a third person, who would like to use the translation? Is he obliged to refer to the translater as to the original W3C source? Best wishes, Dmitry
