Coralie, Dmitry, thanks for cc'ing me. Indeed, the Russian version of the tips used to - and in fact continue to - exist (I'm attaching it to this e-mail for reference). Dmitry, please note that while the Russian translation of Essential Components of Web Accessibility is available at http://eurovacancy.ru/w3c_wai/components.htm the link at http://eurovacancy.ru/ points to a 404 page at http://eurovacancy.ru/w3c_wai/companents.htm. Oleg, can we quickly organize a restoration of the translations previously hosted at http://w3.hotbox.ru/ at some place at xmlhack.ru (I have all of them in static HTML form)? IIRC, we've discussed this many times but then set it aside due to lack of time. It is now a 404 (hence it is not displayed in the database). But Alexander Savenkov translated them in 2001: cf. http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/w3c-translators/2001OctDec/0021 We were in contact mid-April and Alexander Savenkov informed me the resource (as well as 4 others that are 404s) will be alive again. Dmitry, please, do not proceed with the Russian translation of the WAI Quicktips.
