I think Henry Thompson's suggestion to move error handling out of XML-Lang is a very good idea. A related issue that could be dealt with at the same time is comformance testing. How do we intend to prove that XML processor implementations interpret documents as per the spec? This is going to be important for XML based Nuclear Reactor controllers isn't it?
