In the absence of any other proposed text, I tend to agree with this approach -- at the very least it is a good starting point for further discussion. Due to the editorial overhead, I am opposed to moving all of the normative text on locking into one place, however desireable that may be otherwise. As such, I'm not averse to having normative text appear in the to-be-added discussion of the locking model that WebDAV employs. Best, Elias
