We've also been down the road many times about 'how much information is in the URN vs. how much is with the URN' in a reference. It is clear that there is an arbitrarily large amount of information that might be useful in a reference, not just title, author, date, cost, number of pages, date of last access, MD5 signature of the data, KidCode rating, etc., that as much as possible we would leave most of this auxiliary information out of the URN and supply it alongside.
