** Apologies for cross-posting ** Over the last few years the Open University’s Knowledge Media Institute (KMi) has been investigating how to integrate service technologies – including Web APIs/REST services – with Linked Open Data. The research aims at extending our Linked Services infrastructure and tooling including the results from the EU SOA4All project (WSMO-Lite, MicroWSMO, iServe) to empower users to create advanced applications by combining the wealth of Linked Data existing on the Web and within organisations, together with added-value services and processes that leverage this data. The appointed candidate would work within one of our current EU projects: COMPOSE (developing a marketplace combining services and the Internet of Things) or VPH Share (which aims to create an platform to allow clinicians and medical researchers to share human body processes). Closing Date for Applications: March 7th 2013 Application forms and further particulars can be found at: http://kmi.open.ac.uk/jobs/index.php#8761 John _________________________________________ Deputy Director, Knowledge Media Institute, The Open University Walton Hall, Milton Keynes, MK7 6AA, UK phone: 0044 1908 653800, fax: 0044 1908 653169 email: john.domingue@open.ac.uk web: kmi.open.ac.uk/people/domingue/ President, STI International Amerlingstrasse 19/35, Austria - 1060 Vienna phone: 0043 1 23 64 002 - 16, fax: 0043 1 23 64 002-99 email: john.domingue@sti2.org web: www.sti2.org -- The Open University is incorporated by Royal Charter (RC 000391), an exempt charity in England & Wales and a charity registered in Scotland (SC 038302).
