re if I understand this right, skolemization can only be done on the RDF producing side - not the consuming side (I did not read the 1000 emails). Doing it on the consuming side must be prone to changes in the RDF document. So what is with all the RDF documents currently using bodes ? What if people start to adapt these documents ? Suppose a social network switches from bnodes to skolemized bnodes instead of real URIs in their FOAF documents. People will get as many different URIs as friends (every friend has a FOAF profile which states a foaf:knows with a skolemized nbode for this person). This does not look like a good thing to me.
