Azamat, maybe this was a bit too harsh. I wouldn't say I have no clue about machine learning and web semantics - your imputation is not even better for an experienced researcher, sorry. However, I didn't want this thread to die. The more interesting idea of Manual / I think / was the idea of globally available Web objects whose state can be changed anywhere (2nd paragraph in his blog post). Obviously the OpenID project [1] has gained great acceptance, because there is a real use-case and implementors of web portals adopt it - this is not an "object" but at a higher-level a person's identity could be seen as an object.
