This is very interesting.  Reading the criteria, I see:

   For the time being only RDF, RDFS and OWL applications will 
   be included.

What is an RDF application?  Does a standard, designed for the 
Semantic Web, using its own XML markup, and providing an XSLT 
transform to triples and/or RDF/XML count as an RDF application?
