What about the situation where a function takes multiple maps?

I see the benefit of being able to define types for entries in an options map, but I think the named syntax might be more trouble than it’s worth,  I suggest we keep map{} in the function call, but make a change to the function definition to specify types within the final map argument of a function.  I suggested xsl:option earlier, using the same model as variable/param but allowing for default values.
