I think this sentence in 7.1.9.4: "If the media type of the response is a text type with a charset parameter that is a Unicode character encoding, the content of the constructed c:body element is the translation of the text into a Unicode character sequence" should read: "If the media type of the response is a text type with a charset parameter that is a Unicode character encoding or is recognized as a non-XML media type whose contents are encoded as a sequence of Unicode characters (e.g. it has a character parameter or the definition of the media type is such that it requires Unicode), the content of the constructed c:body element is the translation of the text into a Unicode character sequence." -- --Alex Milowski "The excellence of grammar as a guide is proportional to the paucity of the inflexions, i.e. to the degree of analysis effected by the language considered."
