A few comments on the issue database -- was: Issuer Alternative Names

Also note that if you mention an issue by name, such as ISSUE-1 then
there will be a reference on that issue page to the archived 
permalink of the mail. This makes it easy to track the conversations
from the issue database on a particular issue. (so also avoid doing
what I just did now, and create spurious links :-)

Also the great thing about W3C emails is that you can look that
the SMTP headers and find the permalink for every e-mail you send.
So if you can find an e-mail in your inbox, you can then when talking
to people on the list easily find its permalink and refer to it, so
as to make it easier in the future to follow the discussion.
