Im afraid Im rapidly giving up on the foaf bit.. http://www.w3.org/2007/08/pyRdfa/extract?uri=http%3a%2f%2fhome.homepw2.opera unite.com%2fwebserver%2fcontent%2findex.html%2f <http://www.w3.org/2007/08/pyRdfa/extract?uri=http%3a%2f%2fhome.homepw2.oper aunite.com%2fwebserver%2fcontent%2findex.html%2f&format=pretty-xml&warnings= false&parser=lax&space-preserve=true> &format=pretty-xml&warnings=false&parser=lax&space-preserve=true just crashes the extract method now (I re-saved the file using visual studio as code page US-ASCII). The resource resolves fine in fiddler (a proxy) and IE/Opera. I don't think there is anything (major) wrong with the card; its something about the hosting. Do we expect resources servers collecting cards to follow redirects, set cookies etc? I half remember hitting this cookie thing a decade ago. GET http://home.homepw2.operaunite.com/webserver/content/index.html/ 302 Found to /webserver/content/index.html/?session-redirect=noCookie GET http://home.homepw2.operaunite.com/webserver/content/index.html/?session-red irect=noCookie 200 OK (text/html) If a w3c server doing conformance checking (and reasonable practices on server side https client behavior) cannot retrieve this resource, what hope is there that the average resource server doing webid is going to success. Annoyed. Good observation. The stream strips those, often. YES, this is a proxied connection from anyone to my web endpoint (sitting in my browser), and appearing in Opera land, somewhere, for real. Perhaps those are the UTF header chars of the stream? ( I dont know, I'm just guessing, remembering another nightmare over 3 chars at the beginning of the stream.). Let's me see if I can get rid of them by releasing only true ascii (or perhaps better, I somehow manage to tag the MIME type with the UTF flags). Ok. Its worth another try. If you do a wget you see them. Maybe that? 357 273 277 < ! D O C T Y P E h t m Browsers maybe be more tolerant. Or you dare I say you are indeed a victim of MITM. Good luck. Perhaps I changed a byte too many and upset a (unwebby) ultra fussy syntax? The only thing I changed in the graph part was the about ref, and the cert:id. I only did that after it didn't work when simply hosting your page with no change (hoping it was an RDF issue.) http://home.homepw2.operaunite.com/webserver/content/index.html Im *guessing* that what the browser sees is NOT what the server http client sees (be it an extractor client, or uriburner client). There are definitely redirects and cookies and other stuff going on, when I spy on the handoffs. What the betting that the average resource server is not going to be willing to leverage these "browser" centric features of the endpoint? If I invoke the extractor, it seems to analyze some intermediate page. Im trying really hard to use consumer stuff (and not run a webserver). Perhaps copy my page without too many edits first. Thanks.
