Facebook are mediating access to user-created data; dispute seems to centre around who legitimately controls and owns it. Power.com are (I read) claiming to offer user-assisting tools to help users do things they've every right to. Similar topic to the Plaxo/Facebook "Scoble" dispute last year, regarding question of tools that exported (scraped) email addresses from a contact list. IANAL. http://www.techcrunch.com/2009/07/09/powercom-countersues-facebook-over-data-portability/ http://mashable.com/2009/07/09/power-sues-facebook/ Some power.com legal docs here (with screenshots etc): http://www.docstoc.com/docs/8287777/20090709_PowerBattlesFacebook_Lawsuit cheers, Dan
