This section seems overly prescriptive. The very first "MUST NOT" covers it. The rest can be removed, and given as examples of a (good) conforming interface. If they're getting at something additional that needs to be said, it needs to be abstracted up a level. They're also pretty close to CoSL, but not enough, I fear, for further useful simplification.
