Re: PlugFest and RIOT OS integration

Hi Philipp,

many thanks for your mail. Cool to hear that there will be a version ready for end of September.

setup or what do you think?

That would be interesting. Is it also possible to run a kind of simulate mode?

BTW: I am not sure if you are aware of the TD playground [1]. You can use it to test your generated TD to see if they are valid according to the standard. If you want to test the interaction (e.g. via CoAP) based on a TD, you can use W-ADE [2].

Hey,

I talked to @sebastiankb in a github issue
(https://eur01.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fgithub.com%2FRIOT-OS%2FRIOT%2Fissues%2F14095&data=02%7C01%7Csebastian.kaebisch%40siemens.com%7C7fa6167c4426491cba8b08d85da4fb5e%7C38ae3bcd95794fd4addab42e1495d55a%7C1%7C1%7C637362310455015165&sdata=vjTAeTL9dh3CMffsGjmjeFvi5Gz6KMiDSrrlcNYfKHU%3D&reserved=0).
Looks like I maybe get a working CoAP version ready by 28th of
September. I don't want to say that it will be definitely finished by
then.
@sebastiankb recommended to test the implementation on the PlugFest.
Maybe a good opportunity for the Hackathon. To test it there is some
hardware needed. Should I shout it out what I recommend for a low budget
setup or what do you think? Even though it will not be completely ready
by then, it still is a good opportunity to get some people into the
topic, I guess to support the development efforts. :)

best regards
Philipp
