Thanks for the link. The canvas use case proves interesting.

However, web developer's feedback is just one of many factors we need to
consider tradeoffs with an MVP. For example, that individual wants to
forward click events as well, which we're certainly not going to do. It's
more important to serve malicious websites safely.
