Do you mean zoom as in "camera control", or zoom as in "display control"?

I think you can do the latter by manipulating the <video> element in 
Javascript.

The former has been decided to be out of scope for Media Capture 1.0 - 
it's too full of interesting corner cases to be attractive at this time.
