Hi, I am editing various js topics and comparing support in various browsers. caniuse.com lists the follow browser vendors. IE Firefox Chrome Safari Opera iOS Safari Opera Mini Android Browser Blackberry Browser IE Mobile However Opera has a Presto and a Webkit versions. About Opera Version information Version 12.17 Build 1863 Platform Win32 System Windows 7 Browser identification Opera/9.80 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64) Presto/2.12.388 Version/12.17 Opera Next 19.0 Made to discover Version information Version: 19.0.1326.45 - Downloading update 44% Update stream: Next System: Windows 7 64-bit (WoW64) Browser identification Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/32.0.1700.76 Safari/537.36 OPR/19.0.1326.45 (Edition Next) It appears to me that Opera Next should be used for browser comparison, on the assumption that the Presto engine is being phased out. the latest Presto engine release also recognizes webkit prefixed CSSDOM properties and webkit methods, but comparison between the two versions of ‘Opera’ are worlds apart. Regards and Greetings from Australia.
