First off, this is more about the specification itself rather than our docs (but, it can lead to better docs.) I don't currently see how with contenteditable we could generate something like a dropdown or checkbox input to modify the value with only approved options. It seems to me as if this is only achievable in the era of direct forms. So, I opened a LazyWebRequest [1] about it to try and get others input on this type of thing. So, if you have some time please give some input to the idea. If this either is possible or could become possible it could affect the UX of our system in the future to make the editing experience even better for contributors. Thanks, -Garbee P.S. I hope this kind of request isn't out of place in the mailing list. I feel it can have a direct correlation with WPD in the future though. [1] https://github.com/h5bp/lazyweb-requests/issues/127
